TurdTalk ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for the TurdTalk mobile application.

Information We Don't Collect

TurdTalk is designed to be completely private and offline. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any information about you or your usage of the app, including but not limited to:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Device information (device ID, IP address, etc.)
• Location data
• Usage analytics
• Crash reports
• Behavioral data
• User preferences
• Any other identifiable or non-identifiable information

How the App Works

TurdTalk operates entirely on your device:

1. Content Generation: All jokes, facts, and quizzes are generated algorithmically on your device using date-based seeding. No content is downloaded from external servers.
2. Local Storage: Your XP progress, quiz answers, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS/Android local storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device.
3. No Internet Required: The app functions completely offline. It does not make any network requests, API calls, or communicate with external servers.
4. No Accounts: No user accounts, logins, or authentication are required or available.

Data Storage on Your Device

The only data stored is on your local device and includes:

• Your XP (experience points) total
• Quiz questions you've answered
• Your selected content filter preference (All/Laugh/Learn)
• Last content refresh timestamp

This data is stored locally using iOS/Android secure storage APIs and is:

• Never transmitted off your device
• Automatically deleted if you uninstall the app
• Not accessible to us or any third parties

Third-Party Services

TurdTalk does not integrate with or use any third-party services, including:

• No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, Amplitude, etc.)
• No crash reporting (Sentry, Crashlytics, etc.)
• No advertising networks
• No social media integrations
• No cloud storage or backup services
• No authentication providers
• No payment processors (one-time App Store purchase only)

Children's Privacy

TurdTalk does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated 12+ due to mild bathroom humor content, not due to data collection practices.

Since we collect no data at all, TurdTalk is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data, there is no data to:

• Access
• Correct
• Delete
• Export
• Object to processing

All data exists only on your device and is under your complete control.

App Store and Platform Data

While TurdTalk itself collects no data, please note:

• Apple App Store: Apple may collect information about your app purchases and downloads according to their own privacy policy.
• iOS/Android: Your device's operating system has its own data collection practices independent of this app.

We have no access to or control over any data collected by Apple, Google, or your device's operating system.

Legal Compliance

TurdTalk is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation because we collect no personal data.

CCPA Compliance (California)

TurdTalk is fully compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act because we:
